As promised, I've attached the answers to the Exam Practice Exercises - I'll also post outside my door on Monday. I've attached both as a Word document Download exam_prep_answers.doc
and as a rtf for anyone without access to Word

In your text, the following pages at the back would be particularly helpful to review:
193-198, 207-211, 215-218, 220-222
Bonne chance! You can always post questions to the blog - they come to me first and then I'll post an answer along with the question.
Here is the exam question that I gave out last week. You should think about the skills you have had to use in the course to be able to answer this on Friday's exam. I'm looking for your level of self-awareness of your own learning.
THE QUESTION:
Think carefully about the course material and work you were required to do. In a series of paragraphs, describe what skills you used and developed throughout the course, and how you did so. This does not have to be an essay, but your response needs to be clearly organized.
Today we finished the group presentations and started a small group review task.
Tuesday we'll look at old exam questions to give you an idea of what to expect for the sight passage (we'll do this while enjoying a Hearn's ice cream cake!). Your groups will also present the small task you did today on chart paper.
Wednesday we'll finish review so that you all feel confident for your Thursday morning exam!
Tuesday, June 17th, is the last day for any final evaluation presentations to be done, and any reports to be handed in. Everyone who was in class today has done theirs - just those who were away are left!
Tuesday we'll finish presentations and correct the Of Mice and Men unit test as review.
Wednesday we'll finish "Ray" and finish any review.
Just two more days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here are the instructions for each question on the exam. They are the ones we are going over in class today. Download exam_instructions_june_08.rtf
Remember that we are finishing the last two final evaluation group projects on Monday. Group #5 will go first, and then Group #6.
After that we will be doing a review activity. Tuesday I will show you some questions from an old exam.
Also remember to bring in your dollar for the class ice cream cake if you are interested in partaking in the treat on Tuesday!
I've attached the original assignment sheet for anyone working at home who has forgotten or lost their handout! Download final_evaluation.rtf
Remember, we start presentations to the class on Monday, and you have to hand in your report afterwards (you can have your report up there with you for the presentation). Also keep in mind that I shortened the amount of things from your report that you are explaining to the class to:
Title - what and why
Key scenes - 3 scenes
Casting - 2 key people
Soundtrack - 2 songs you would use
For the presentations, remember good presentation style that we've been working on throughout the course! If you can make a brief slideshow to go with it, great. If you would like to use a video/Utube clip etc. during your presentation, that is also good!
In the sweltering heat we continued to work on the futur simple. We corrected the handout from last class, and worked through another handout with irregular verbs in the futur.
We attempted to work on le, la, les, l', but will come back to this on Tuesday due to some photocopying issues :( Tomorrow we'll get it all sorted out!
The remainder of class time was spent in the comfort of the air-conditioned library where you were to be working on your time travel report - remember that you will be using passe compose for most of the 'speech' since the idea is that you have already gone on the trip and are talking about both it and the souvenir you have 'brought back' with you.
If you haven't got a start on this beyond the first sentence, then you should likely be spending some time on it at home. We will hear the speeches on Monday, June 16th during class.
These timelines are also posted on the side board in the classroom, to help get you through to the end of the course.
