Senior Boys Volleyball

The senior boys improved their season record to 9 - 3 on Tuesday, October 2 when they hosted both Listowel and Central Huron.

In their first match against Listowel,  the Senior Dawgs struggled with intensity losing two games to 1.  In the first match, serving errors were the biggest factor with St. Marys committing 8 missed serves.  As the number of missed serves increased the senior Salukis play diminished causing the team to commit several offensive and defensive errors causing them to lose 16 - 25.

The Senior Dawgs rebounded in the second set causing the LIstowel squad to struggle. With a final score of 25 - 13 the senior team showed the home town fans what they are capable of.

In the third set the St. Marys team once again struggled with intensity.  With lack lustre effort defensively the Dawgs fell behind early at 11 points and never recovered, losing by a score of 19 - 25.

In the second match the Senior Dawgs showed a better performance defeating Central Huron 3 games to none.  In each game primary passers Brandon Boyd, James Robinson and Tristan Dundas did well while setters Adam Corwall and Darian Cross continue to improve.  Final scores were 25 - 11 , 25 - 12 and 25 - 23.

Senior's continue regular season play next Thursday when they travel to Northwestern.
