The Grade 10 Computer Studies class is using App Inventor to create apps for Android cell phones. The students can test their applications on an emulator on the computer but some apps, like those that involve sensing movement of the phone, obviously won't work. If you have an Android phone and would like to try some of the apps, come to Room 242. If you have an old Android phone you'd like to donate, that would be fantastic (don't need phone service, we just need the device).

Is there any way you could post the apps somewhere for others to try? It isn't too difficult to upload an .apk from a link.

Mr. Macdonald
This is the first year we've used App Inventor (and we are just getting started). We will give your suggestion a try. Watch for it at the web page for the classs: http://dcvi.edmodo.com/public/ics2o-intro-to-cs/group_id/430633
