The Saluki Swim team had a great day at WOSSA Tuesday. The swimmers posted many personal best times and competed for strong placing in many events.
Connor Shaw earned DCVI a first place medal in the 50m Para-Freestyle. Congratulations to Connor for his First Place efforts and for his wonderful sportsmanship.
The Senior Girls Medley Relay team, including Jen Spence, Lauren Aarts , Marnie Snoek and junior swimmer Sarah Turner, placed 6th overall and improved their time significantly.
Jen Spence improved her times and posted personal best times in the 100m freestyle. This has been a strong season for Jen!
Lauren Aarts contributed to the team as our only representative in the breaststroke. Thanks Lauren.
Marnie Snoek placed in the top ten in each of her events and just missed an OFSSA qualifying time by 2 tenths of a second! Way to go Marnie!
All swimmers showed a great deal of dedication and hard work throughout the season. Thanks also goes to Sarah Tuer-Sipos and Carolin Welp for their additional support.
