Report Cards were issued to students today. Students and their parents are asked to complete page 2 of the report card no later than Monday May 5th. Please return this page along with the signature of a parent/guardian to your first period teacher. Each student was also given a copy of the April Newsletter.
If you selected Coop or OYAP on your course option sheet for the upcoming school year beginning September 2008, you must pick up an application package from Guidance this week. Inside the package will be an application form for the program. This form is to be completed and brought to your interview. Please be sure to complete the entire form. Do not leave any line blank.
Also inside the package, will be 2 teacher reference forms for you to distribute. Select 2 teachers that you feel will give you a positive recommendation for this program. Current teachers are preferred, however, teachers from last semester may also be selected.
All interviews will occur at 9:00am on Friday April 18, 2008 in the Small Gym. It is your responsibility to inform your classroom teacher well in advance of the interview day.
Your ability to follow these simple instructions will reflect on acceptance into the program.

Wednesday, February 6 starting at 6:30, all Grade 8 students and their parents/guardians are invited to DCVI. The evening will start with a presentation in the large gym followed by an opportunity for our guests to tour the school and visit each subject area for additional information.
The Ministry of Education requires that all courses have a final assessment worth 30% of the course mark. Courses have one, or more, activities that comprise the final assessment for the course. Four days have been allocated to "exams". Click on the links below to view the exam schedule and exam guidelines.
College - complete your application by midnight Friday Jan 11, 2008 and you are eligible for a draw with first prize being $2500. Prize money is awaqded for the first, second and third name drawn!
University - due to technical difficulties on the website the deadline for applications has been extended to 11:59 pm on Friday January 11, 2008. Please check the website for further updates. www.ouac.on.ca
