Next Year

Hey Saluki Musicians,
The year isn't over yet, but we are looking ahead into the 2008/2009 school year. We are looking for a logo for the DCVI Music Department, so if you are into designing things, on the computer or on paper, we would love to hear from you.
Discussions are taking place in the new DCVI Music Facebook group, so its a great place to stay in touch. We are hoping to have regular date updates just like on the blog, and Everyone can participate in discussions, upload pictures and videos. Its a great way to keep ideas coming. So if you haven't checked it out already, Make sure to do so.

Back In Detroit

We just landed, and we are taxing to Detroit Metropolitan Airport. We Expect to be on time, but the border can always change that. An Update should be available closer to home.

Heading Home

Sorry for the lack of updates up to this point. Nassau did not have service at the docks. After a fun day at sea we are ready to come home. We are set to disembark the ship in about an hour. There will be an update when we land, and when we get closer to home.

Day In Nassau!

After our independent activities in Nassau, we came back to the boat for lunch, and headed out to the beach. Everyone enjoyed laying in the sun, or crashing against the waves. We are all back on the ship but we don't set sail until midnight. Tomorrow we have our fun day at sea. There will be no upates until Monday as there are no cell phone towers out there. Everyone is having a great time, and I speak for all of us when I say "I don't want this to end." We will update you on our progress home.
Check Back Soon!

On The Cruise!

As I write this, I and the rest of the school lay by the pool. (As you can see from the picture). We are enjoying the unlimited food, and all our travel woes just melted away when we stepped onto the Lido Deck. In about 20 minutes we will receive our rooms and then enjoy the cruise for the rest of the day. I will update when we arrive in Nassa, when we set sail, when we arrive in Miami and on our way home. I would love to write more, but we have to enjoy our cruise. See you all when we get back!

We Have Landed!

After a non eventful but long flight, we have landed in Miami. We will be heading to our hotel soon, and hanging out there until tomorrow. Everything is going well and we all have high spirits. We will let you know when we have boarded the ship to Bahamas. There will be no updates until Nassau, since we are using a cell phone. Be sure to check back soon!
